MARTIN LEWIS’s wife Lara Lewington, star of TV show Click, has returned to work less than a week after undergoing shoulder surgery, sharing a picture update on Instagram.
Lara Lewing, best known for being a presenter on BBC One technology show Click, gave her social media followers an update about her health online last night. The wife of fellow TV star Martin Lewis managed to film a segment for her programme at home without the use of a sling, days after surgery on her shoulder.
The 41-year-old said she was flashing a “showbiz smile” despite recently going under the knife.
She revealed she had been able to remove her sling for a short duration while presenting the pre-recorded show.
True to form, Lara looked radiant as she posed for a photograph, which she uploaded to Instagram in view of her 11,200 followers, in a pretty blue shirt.
The mum-of-one captioned her snap: “Tech’s part in working from home, perfecting your video call technique, and lots of chickens, what more could you want from this week’s @bbcclick?”

Giving fans a behind-the-scenes update, she added: “I managed to take my sling off, and put my showbiz smile on, phew! #wfh #workingfromhome #zoom #videocalls #bbc #filming #selfshoot.”
This time last week, Lara said she wasn’t sure if she would be up to filming this week’s show after revealing she was going to hospital for an operation.
“Not sure if I’ll be up to filming next week, but if I am, expect a sling and bedraggled hair,” she joked.
There was nothing of the sort visible in Lara’s social media snap as she looked a picture of health.
“You look stunning,” one follower wrote in the comments section of her post, before adding: “Hope Mr L is looking after you – plenty TLC.”

Martin, who presents self-titled Money Show Live, was not able to take his wife to the hospital last week because of the coronavirus restrictions.
He took to Twitter to share his frustration as he headed to work like normal to host his TV show.
“Strange leaving home today to walk to the studio, as Mrs MSE (@LaraLewington) is off to hospital for a shoulder op.
“I’m not allowed to go with her in current climes, but’ll race from the studio tonight to pick her up (luckily it coincides with release time) happy & healthy I hope.”
