Going up to Gordon Ramsay in public would take a certain amount of courage. What if he calls you an “idiot sandwich” or finds your TikTok account and makes fun of you? Far too risky. But going up to Gordon Ramsay in public AND calling him a grandfather is…a BOLD move. Apparently, though, it’s something that happens to him a lot, and he’s none too pleased about it!
In a recent interview with Men’s Health UK, as reported on by The Daily Mail, Gordon said that sometimes when he is walking around with his wife Tana and their sons Jack, 20, and Oscar, 1, people will assume that Jack is Oscar’s dad, and will sometimes even tell him so.
“The worst thing is when I’m walking with Tana and Jack, and everyone is looking at Jack as if Oscar is his son,” he said. “‘[They say] “You must be so proud to be a grandad.” F**k off, he’s ours. If I get called ‘grandad’ one more f*****g time, I’m going to hit the roof.”

Yikes! Um, probably a good reminder that assumptions like this are basically never a good idea! In the interview, Gordon also shared that he’s gotten all of his kids into exercising competitively, like running the London Marathon and participating in Ironmans. Yeah, in case you forgot, the man is absolutely ripped, so, nothing against grandpas—I am sure plenty of them are in great shape, but, I would not want to be the next person to call Gordon a “grandad” to his face.
