Disney is magical all throughout the year, but when it comes to the holidays, the theme park really knows how to do it right. In a recent Disney Parks blog post, Food & Beverage Content Relations Manager Karen McClintock gave a sneak peek of what festive treats will be hitting Walt Disney World for the holidays and there are so many that will blow your Mickey-loving mind!!
First up is Magic Kingdom, which is known for its classic park foods and also its decorations. A TikTok showing how Magic Kingdom’s main street gets decorated overnight for Halloween went viral, and soon enough the streets will switch to the winter wonderland that comes around every year.
To match that, Magic Kingdom will be offering a bunch of goodies including a Twice Upon a Cupcake, Let It Snow Taco, An Orange Bird Christmas, Chip and Dale Christmas Churros, and a pistachio chai tea float. The cupcake is made from confetti batter and features a Christmas tree topper and a red velvet hidden Mickey inside. The Let It Snow Taco is made with a sugar cookie taco shell and mousse, the Orange Bird is made with orange mousse, and the churros are a twist on the classic item with an apple pie filling and chocolate chips.
Hollywood Studios is offering special items for the holidays as well, including a frozen salted caramel hot chocolate, Mickey’s holiday cookie, holiday whoopie pies, and an Olaf’s Snow Flurry that comes with a glowing Olaf souvenir. Animal Kingdom will offer a white chocolate peppermint cream cheese mousse, menagerie gingerbread cupcake, pumpkin pie ice cream sandwich, and Santa Mickey mousse. Epcot will also have seasonal items like a spiked frozen apple pie drink made with moonshine and a maple Bûche de Noël cake.
All of the items (which you can read more about here, BTW!) will be sold for a limited-time this holiday season, but some will run through early January so guests have some time to try them out. For those who won’t be at the parks this year, let’s hope Disney drops the recipes for these fun food items soon.
